Santa Longshore returns to the artful rabbit
We have two available options for your family this year. Your family can enjoy a sweet semi-private storytime with Santa himself + professional photos or you can pop in for a quick visit with Santa + professional photos. Both options include cookies & crafts in our studio.
a creative space where artistry, curiosity, and community come together
Our maker space welcomes artists of all ages to explore a diverse range of styles and mediums through thoughtfully designed workshops and classes. Whether you are a seasoned creator or just beginning your artistic journey, our studio offers a space to experiment, refine your craft, and connect with fellow makers in an inspiring, supportive environment.
Our cozy cottage also hosts a carefully curated bookstore and gift shop inviting you to step into a world of wonder.
Here, stories spark imagination, art meets literature, and every corner holds something unexpected. From timeless classics to the latest bestsellers, our shelves overflow with literary treasures that will transport children and adults to far-off lands and inspire them to dream big.
“There’s magic in opening a beautifully adventurous book with a child.”

ABOUT US
After many years in early childhood education, our founder, Christa Thomas, longed for a space where creativity and connection could flourish. She envisioned a place where children and adults alike could come together, surrounded by art, stories, and the warmth of a creative community.
What began as a dream soon became a reality, thanks to the love and support of family and friends.
The Artful Rabbit is more than just a studio; it’s a labor of love, built by the hands and hearts of those who believe in the magic of creativity. We hope you find as much joy here as we do—a place to gather, try new things, and follow your heart.
