Our maker space welcomes artists of all ages to explore a diverse range of styles and mediums through thoughtfully designed workshops and classes. Whether you are a seasoned creator or just beginning your artistic journey, our studio offers a space to experiment, refine your craft, and connect with fellow makers in an inspiring, supportive environment.
Our cozy cottage also hosts a carefully curated bookstore and gift shop inviting you to step into a world of wonder.

Open Studio
Looking for a cozy, inspiring space to get creative — either solo or with friends? Our Open Studio is perfect for a relaxed art day! Bring your own project or use our curated materials to make something amazing.
We ask that you reserve a spot for everyone who’d like to participate in open studio, that way, we can make sure there’s plenty of space and materials for all!
Family Friendly Open Studio
Get creative as a family! We’ll provide a seasonal art theme and lay out all the supplies — you just show up and have fun. Expect things like canvas painting, clay creations, upcycled art, and more.
We ask that you reserve a spot for each family member participating, that way, we can make sure there’s plenty of space and materials for all!

ABOUT US
After many years in early childhood education, our founder, Christa Thomas, longed for a space where creativity and connection could flourish. She envisioned a place where children and adults alike could come together, surrounded by art, stories, and the warmth of a creative community.
What began as a retirement dream to read beautiful literature to children for the pure joy of it, soon became a reality, thanks to the love and support of family and friends.
The Artful Rabbit is more than just a studio; it’s a labor of love, built by the hands and hearts of those who believe in the magic of creativity. We hope you find as much joy here as we do—a place to dream big, take risks, and follow your heart.
